Winstrol Only Cycle
It’s important to understand that many beginners tend to use Stanozolol (Winstrol) in an attempt to lose weight and gain muscles alone. However, there are two mistakes.
First, I don’t recommend Winstrol as the first steroid cycle because of its ability to cause some possibly harsh side effects. I would recommend starting with milder compounds for getting your “toes wet” in the world of anabolic steroids first.
Second, I don’t recommend Winstrol only cycle at all. This is a steroid that has the ability to lower endogenous testosterone levels. So, you get the best out of a Winstrol cycle when you stack with testosterone. Professionals add other steroids too. Moreover, Stanozolol binds to SHBG, allowing for an enhanced effect of other steroids. So, you have two reasons to not use it alone but stack it with some form of testosterone.
If you do run a Winstrol only cycle, be aware that you won’t yield the maximum benefits and if you’re a beginner, be aware that you can experience side effects. On such a Winstrol cycle, you’re suppressing testosterone levels, liver values are increasing and the cholesterol values, as well as blood pressure, are going to spike too.
In fact, these are the main issues of using Winstrol. That’s why I recommend fish oil (about 4 g/day) for dealing with cholesterol issues, and some form of liver protection for dealing with liver issues (like Liv 52) during the entire cycle you run Winstrol (solo or stacked). Moreover, you also need a Post Cycle Therapy (PCT) protocol after each cycle. It goes with Nolvadex (tamoxifen) and/or Clomid (clomiphene).
A solo cycle usually goes 20-30 mg/day for 6 weeks. It still shouldn’t cause some results, but I wouldn’t recommend it alone and not for beginners.
Testosterone and Winstrol Cycle
This is a cycle that I would much rather recommend. However, I would only recommend it for cutting cycles and to those who are having experience with testosterone. This means you need to start with testosterone and then introduce Winstrol. It goes without saying that in all Winstrol cycles you’ve got to carefully watch out for your diet and workout schedule.
You need to have a diet and exercise plan specifically for cutting cycles. Such as maintaining calories below maintenance, more cardio, and so on and so forth.
In this case, you’re going to benefit both from maintaining high testosterone levels throughout the entire cycle and from Winstrol’s ability to bind to SHBG. Such a cycle is very effective in terms of causing a notable fat loss in combination with a significant amount of lean muscle gains.
You need to keep testosterone dosage low in order to stay away from water retention. In this cycle, you’re going to use testosterone only as a booster. Nonetheless, having some aromatase inhibitors (AIs) handy in case estrogenic issues would start to appear from the use of testosterone is still a good idea. Such as Arimidex or Aromasin.
- You still need a PCT plan (and maybe an even more aggressive one considering it’s a harsher cycle), liver protection, and all other supplements.
You may use a longer version of testosterone for a longer cycle length and add Winstrol in the middle of the cycle until the end. Or if you don’t mind pinning more frequently, a shorter version of testosterone and start together with Winstrol and end at the same time.
Example: Testosterone Enanthate 200-300 mg/week (split weekly) for 10-12 weeks. Winstrol 30-50 mg/day (split daily) for the last 6 weeks. Or Test Prop and Winstrol both at 30-50 mg/day for 6 weeks.
Clenbuterol and Winstrol Cycle
Clenbuterol is a powerful stimulant, it is not a steroid. Nonetheless, you could still find a lot of athletes and bodybuilders using it in cutting cycles with cutting steroids (such as Winstrol). That’s because Clenbuterol has powerful fat burning properties.
It may not be highly effective at building lean muscle mass (if any at all), but it’s still awesome at increasing “lean mass” because of the amount of fat it helps burn. Stacking Clenbuterol and Winstrol during a cycle is only going to enhance the effects as they work in different ways. The user is likely to experience very rapid fat loss.
Clenbuterol is not a steroid meaning that there’s no risk of testosterone suppression, estrogenic or androgenic issues, or virilization among women. However, this is a beta 2 agonist. This means that its potency lowers over time (you have to constantly increase the dosage and/or stay off it for a while). Moreover, it is harsh on the cardiovascular system. It can increase blood pressure and heart rate significantly. That’s why you have to keep a very close eye on your cardiovascular system, especially considering that both Clenbuterol and Winstrol are capable of negatively affecting it.
- In the end, you can add Clenbuterol to your Winstrol cycle. Regardless if you want to use Winstrol alone or with Testosterone or Testosterone and other steroids. Women also add Clenbuterol to their cycle since there’s no risk of virilization issues.
You keep the Winstrol cycle in the exact same ways as I earlier explained and you add Clenbuterol in various ways. One way is 2 weeks off and 2 weeks on where you hop on and off it. Others simply constantly increase the dosage. They start Clen at 20 mcg/day and increase up to 80-100 mcg/day through a 6-10 weeks period.
Other Winstrol Cycles
It’s important to understand that regardless of whether you use it alone or stacked with other steroids, you should start slowly and gradually increasing both the dosage and the cycle length. Nonetheless, Winstrol dosage should not ever increase to 80-100 mg per day. Moreover, it should not ever get over 8 weeks long.
But in fact, that’s already way too much for most people and it’s already capable of causing harsh issues. In order to keep it safer, most people stay within the 40-60 mg/day range and up to 6 weeks.
That’s because getting over this dosage and cycle length would greatly increase the risks of side effects. You can do it only when you have enough experience.
A lot of people go for a Winstrol cycle consisting of Testosterone, Clenbuterol, and Winstrol for extremely powerful fat burning effects. This is already a cycle that I wouldn’t recommend to beginners. But on the other hand, professional bodybuilders and athletes choose to add another steroid or even multiple ones.
I strongly recommend against adding two new compounds into your regimen at a time. That’s because you’re likely to experience side effects from one of them and if you do, you can’t find which one.
Generally, the Winstrol cycle is great for cutting cycles. Therefore, these people use other cutting steroids. Popular steroids for a Winstrol cycle stack are Trenbolone, Primobolan (Methenolone), and Masteron (Drostanolone). I do not recommend adding other oral steroids because of liver toxicity.
Winstrol is already fairly liver toxic, adding other hepatotoxic steroids would have a way too negative impact on your liver. Popular cycle:
Week 1-8/10 Testosterone Propionate 50 mg/day; Trenbolone Acetate 75 mg/day; Masteron Propionate 100 mg/day; Winstrol 50 mg/day (for only 6-8 weeks) and Clenbuterol usually in constant increasing dosage method.
Conclusion
Winstrol cycles that I mentioned above are just some examples. It’s important to understand that you can adjust the dosage, steroids, cycle lengths, etc. according to your needs, but do not go outside the recommended guidelines.
Moreover, I strongly recommend beginners stay away from the last example of the Winstrol cycle. It’s way too powerful, containing way too many compounds for a beginner. That’s a cycle that only professionals should start with.
I would recommend beginners to start with Testosterone alone, then with Testosterone and Anavar, and only the third cycle to contain Testosterone and Winstrol. From there you can work on adding other compounds to your cycles too.
